Parents are encouraged to bring favorite toys or comfort items. We recommend scheduling during your child's best time of day (usually mornings for younger kids). Our patient approach ensures we capture those beautiful, authentic moments that showcase your child's personality.

What locations are available for outdoor portrait sessions?

We photograph at beautiful locations throughout Dallas-Fort Worth including Dallas Arboretum, White Rock Lake, Klyde Warren Park, the Fort Worth Stockyards, and Trinity Groves. We also offer sessions at meaningful locations like your home, the place you met, or where you got engaged. During your consultation, we'll discuss your vision and recommend locations that match your style and the season. Location permits, if required, are included in your session fee.

Can we do outfit changes during our portrait session?

Absolutely! We encourage 2-3 outfit changes for variety in your final gallery. This allows for both casual and formal looks, different color palettes, and varied feels in your photos. For family sessions, coordinate colors rather than matching exactly. For engagement sessions, bring one dressy and one casual outfit. We'll provide outfit guidance during your consultation and allow time in the session for comfortable outfit changes.

What happens if weather affects our outdoor session?

We monitor weather forecasts closely and will contact you if conditions look unfavorable. Light overcast is actually ideal for portraits—it creates soft, flattering light without harsh shadows. If severe weather threatens your session, we'll reschedule at no additional cost. We maintain a flexible calendar specifically for weather-related rescheduling. For time-sensitive events, we can offer a studio backup option to ensure your photos happen on schedule.

How soon will I receive my photos?

For headshot sessions, you'll receive your edited images within 48-72 hours. Family and engagement sessions are typically delivered within 2 weeks. Event photography turnaround is 5-7 business days. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee if you need images sooner.
